Job description:
- scientific service in teaching and research in the field of Intensive Plant Food Systems
- supervision of climate chamber, greenhouse and field trials
- phenotyping of plants
- application and further development of dynamic simulation models for crop photosynthesis and yield formation
- preparation of project reports and publications
- tasks for personal scientific qualification (habilitation-equivalent achievements)
Requirements:
- completed scientific university education and doctorate in agricultural, horticultural and plant sciences of related subjects or computer science, mathematics
- in-depth knowledge of plant ecophysiology
- proven experience in statistics, modelling and simulations
- knowledge of genetics, plant breeding and GWAS is desirable
- willingness to work in a team
- strong communication skills and flexibility
