Job description:

  • scientific services in research in the DFG project “SimLivA 2”, in particular in development of digital twins of the liver for clinical decision support
  • opportunity for own scientific Qualification (doctorate)

 

Requirements:

  • completed scientific university degree and in(bio)computer science, (bio)physics, mathematics, engineering or a similar degree in the STEM field
  • advanced programming skills in Python desired; other programming languages are an advantage
  • knowledge of databases (REST)
  • knowledge of data science (data analysis, statistics, visualization)
  • very good command of written and spoken English (at least C1)

 

Experience with the following is desirable:

  • ODE modeling, in pharmacokinetics, ADME, pharmacology, toxicology
  • Machine learning (neural networks)
  • with 3D visualization (meshes, VTK)
  • HTML, Java-Script/ Web-Frontend-Development
  • Linux
